CHILLYWILLY Aug 23, 2009 Both systems operated off 27 Mhz. All I can remember about FM was having to squelch out the backgrond noise. @ SS55. I too had the Cobra 148 GTL DX. This had the KC shift and if you were clever you could enter the blackhole club.
