Donations what’s this all about?
Like our members know Picture Penzance is a Non-Profit Organization and is currently funded by its founders 'Halfhidden & Sparky' in order to keep Picture Penzance true to its form as being FREE we are asking for voluntary contributions to help towards 'internet hosting costs' and the cost of future projects like the Aerial Photograph of Penwith we are planning.
All these projects will be available to all on the Picture Penzance site and Gallery, however without support these projects will not happen. Many of our members are asking "but Picture Penzance is free why are you asking for money"? We are giving you the option to donate to help enhance your website and give others the chance to experience something truly unique.
All donations will go towards these following areas of the organisation:
Advertisement
Scan Day Equipment & venue costs
Future Projects like the Aerial Photograph
Internet Hosting costs
Although I've only listed a few areas here, these are the main areas of cost within Picture Penzance and are fundamentally important to keep the site running.
Please can you take a few minutes to think about how many people you've met, old friends you've found, the endless fun you've had looking through the galleries and the amount of history that's being brought to life again.
